Justice Delayed by Patricia Bradley

About the Book

It's been eighteen years since TV crime reporter Andi Hollister's sister was murdered. The confessed killer is behind bars, and the execution date is looming. But when a letter surfaces stating that the condemned killer didn't actually do it, Detective Will Kincaide of the Memphis Cold Case Unit will stop at nothing to help Andi get to the bottom of it. After all, this case is personal: the person who confessed to the crime is Will's cousin. They have less than a week to find the real killer before the wrong person is executed. But much can be accomplished in that week--including uncovering police corruption, running for your life, and falling in love.

With the perfect mixture of intrigue and nail-biting suspense, award-winning author Patricia Bradley invites her readers to crack the case--if they can--alongside the best Memphis has to offer.

Patricia Bradley writes action packed suspense, with a good helping of faith and just the right amount of romance.  Her newest release, "Justice Delayed", is her most ambitious book ever.  So much going on, such great characters, and such an intricate story had me thinking, "How did she DO this?"

Andi Hollister loved her older sister, and when Stephanie died life changed drastically.  Andi pursued her degree in journalism, and now she's determined to find out who took her sister's life and why she died.

But will she be able to handle the truth?

Will never believed his cousin killed the woman of his dreams, but Jimmy is about to be executed for the crime.  A confession sealed his fate, but was Jimmy coerced?  Did he really murder the only woman he'd ever loved?

Every character in "Justice Delayed" is full of life and fits together as the story unfolds.  The bad guy is extra bad, and it's difficult to tell who's on the side of right and who might be coloring outside the lines of justice.

When Bradley's story finally comes to an epic conclusion, you won't believe just how many bread crumbs she's sprinkled along the way.  Don't be fooled into thinking you've got it all figured out---a few curves are sure to leave you gasping.

I loved every page of "Justice Delayed", and I'm giving it 4 1/2 stars.  Here's to hoping for another story from Patricia Bradley very soon!
