Going through the Motions

Going through the motions of life can make you depressed. You feel like you’re just living day to day with little to no purpose. Almost like you’re just stuck in a cycle of doing the same thing. This can be crippling to a healthy mindset. You start to seek more extreme solutions for relatively easy fixes. What you really need to do is snap out of it!

To fix it, change things. Change what time you wake up in the morning. Change what you eat. Change who you spend most of your time with. If you change something every day, or even just do something different, day to day life will be more exciting.

Commit to something. Working hard at something is also a very rewarding feeling. Seeing that final product and that all your hard work paid off is so satisfying. So, find something you like and do something with it. Have a skill or product to show off. Something that you can feel good about.

A lot of times when people are going through the motions they have nothing to look forward to. The only thing that keeps them going is that at the end of the day they get to sleep and relax. Don’t let the end of the day be your reward. Find something that you can do every night or that you enjoy. Find things that make you feel alive. Things that will make you reminisce on in the future.

Make every day great!  You can’t treat every day as just another day. Make every day an enjoyable one. Win the day. Find a way to be able to lie in bed at the night and think about how you had a good productive day. Once you figure out how to win more days you can win your weeks, then months and years. It all starts with that day. Make the most of those 24 hours.  Work hard!  Start every day with the attitude that it is a new day, and, in some way, it will be an enhanced yesterday.  Recognize what you could have done better the day before and relish in the moments where you hit the mark on the head.   Take all you can out of each day in order to be prepared for the next day.  Don’t ever make the same mistake twice.  Be more motivated, inspired, and choose to excel with every action you take.   Exercise a little longer than you did the day before, make that phone call that you have been putting off for some time.  Do all you can today to make tomorrow exactly what you want.  If you live your life this way and each tomorrow is better, think of the possibilities!  You are living your life to be your best you!  Don’t just go through the motions!

God’s plan for our lives is for it to be flourishing,  prospering, abundant, and successful!  He does not want us to settle for less than what we can have....what He has in store for us!

Jeremiah 29:11....I know the plans I have for you.  Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
