I Am His

My mission and passion is helping others. If I feel I’ve not impacted someone else’s life each and every day in some way, no matter how big or small, I am not happy or fulfilled. There is so much we can do to help brighten someone’s day and be a blessing to them. The world is full of struggling people that just need a ray of light, positivity, hope and help.

I never want my own struggles and stresses of life hinder helping others. I never want my heart and mind to be so clouded with my problems that I’m not effective in helping someone else.

This requires a lot of praying on my part. I, too, deal with the issues and stresses of life. So I have to pray that God would help me not focus on those things. I have to keep my focus on Him. And I have to TRUST Him with my problems and stresses. We all know this is very hard to do sometimes!

I read something a couple of days ago as I was feeling stressed. Not only was I stressed, but I was stressing over letting stress cause me to become ineffective! What I read brought my focus back to where it needed to be and reminded me of some things I needed to be reminded of.

God always wanted ME. Before I was ever born, He wanted me. I was His then, and I am His now. The words He speaks and sings and shouts over me are life, hope, peace, joy. I cannot entertain lies of the enemy. This will only cause you to come into disagreement, confusion, fearfulness, frustration, and duress for not accepting what HE says is true. He has taken my every yoke onto His person, bearing it Himself. And He has exchanged my captivity for liberty. I need not worry. I need to always sit down, be still, look up. He IS the one who satisfies me. He IS the one who approves me. He IS the one who releases me. The more I relax in His arms, the more I will live and breathe, AND BE A SOURCE OF HIM TO THE WORLD....the world where He has placed me to live and give away His life and love. I am His joy. I am His delight. So I will relax, be refreshed in His presence, and let His love in.

These words apply to YOU as well! Read them over and over if you have to. Let it sink in and realize that you, too, can sit down, be still, and look up. He’s there for you. He is in love with you. He will take care of you, too.
